The scale we began using in ASW elementary last year: STANDARDS BASED
4 = Above and beyond the 3rd grade standard/ expectation3=Meeting the grade level standard / expectation2=Approaching the grade level standard/ expectation1= Not yet meeting grade level standard/ expectation (CHECKMARK = Completed) -- Only on assignment tracker NOT on report card.
This is the system I use to communicate with parents and students on the Assignment Tracker and the report card.
